US RAINBOW GATHERING In The Uinta National Forest
A journey through this summer’s USA Rainbow Gathering in the heart of Utah’s Uinta National Forest
3 Oct 2014
“This was my first Rainbow Gathering. I brought my camera after hearing that not many folks bring them. I figured it would be something I could offer for the family that would be unique. The National Gathering was really cool! I was so amazed at the wide variety of people, and the various walks of life they originated from. I went to Rainbow hoping to see new perspectives and try new things, and I certainly got that wish! It seemed to me about 5-10,000 people were present.
The prayer circle [prayer on 4th July for World Peace] was a very interesting experience. It was fantastic to hear the forest go from complete silence to such a joyous outcry in such a sudden moment.”
